I made this drawing of Hathor as a Christmas present for my girlfriend, Lisa.
Hathor is interesting to me because she started as a personification of The Milky Way but over time absorbed many other gods and goddesses. Eventually she became one of the most worshiped of the ancient Egyptian gods. Among many other attributes she was goddess of cows, fertility and peace.
