I made this drawing of Hathor as a Christmas present for my girlfriend, Lisa.

Hathor is interesting to me because she started as a personification of The Milky Way but over time absorbed many other gods and goddesses. Eventually she became one of the most worshiped of the ancient Egyptian gods. Among many other attributes she was goddess of cows, fertility and peace.

This Frogherder story was done a few years ago as an assignment while I was at CCS. As always it’s a little awkward looking at my old stuff but I like the mogs and I always enjoy getting to do comics with these characters.

I made a few comics to promote Dartmouth College’s Project Greenlight. Project Greenlight’s goal is to reduce energy use and waste on the Dartmouth campus.

The bigger strips were drawn to show them what I had in mind…but they didn’t like the size so I ended up making the smaller ones.

Frogherder – Ascent

For part of my thesis for The Center for Cartoon Studies I did a short Frogherder story called Ascent. It was originally intended as a prologue for a longer story about human shepherds trying to survive on Timo’s home planet, Noria. The longer story never got finished but I think Ascent stands pretty well on its own.

As I mentioned before, Frogherder started as a comic strip. I made several hundred as part of a webcomics contest. Here are a few panels from those strips.

Onion Head #8 – The Last One

This is the last Onion Head comic for now. I hope I can make more eventually! I’ve been working on a really long OH story called Thief in the Night, I’ll post a few thumbnailed pages in the Onion Head section soon. Maybe I’ll get to finish it one day but I have several other projects that need attention first.
